The MIN() function returns the smallest value of the selected column.The MAX() function returns the largest value of the selected column.
MIN() Syntax
SELECT MIN(column_name)
FROM table_name

MAX() Syntax
SELECT MAX(column_name)
FROM table_name
WHERE condition;
